Invited Talk: Saleem Bhatti, University of St Andrews, UK
Title: "Network Systems Research is Irrelevant with apologies to Rob Pike".
Abstract
This talk is a designed to evoke discussion and comment with respect to research in networking today. The speaker will make some (lighthearted but deliberately provocative) comments and observations which try to answer the question: Why is it that as communication systems become more widely used and embedded within society it is at the same time becoming increasingly difficult to deploy innovative solutions from our ongoing research that address the problems arising from the wider use of such systems?
